Our work depends on a Scheduler joining our team to support the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration.


    The National Nuclear Security Administration IT Managed Services (NIMS) is an exciting program performing IT support for the Department of Energy's organization responsible for enhancing national security through the application of nuclear science by maintaining and enhancing the safety, security, and effectiveness of the US nuclear weapons stockpile.

    This support is provided in several locations across the US giving employees great options for geographically diverse work locations.

    The primary goal of the program will be to support the NNSA Associate Administrator for Information Management and Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in modernizing its IT and Cybersecurity Infrastructure and transforming current IT and Cybersecurity services to a managed service environment.

    At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As the Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the program's transition schedule/roadmap.

    Other responsibilities include,


    • Develops and executes Agile programmatic schedules that align with customer needs.
    • Attends meetings and updates schedules as needed.
    • Works with a variety of teams to develop schedules, baselines, estimates, and reporting status.
    • Analyzes and tracks project interdependencies and performs schedule analyses.
    • Develops program-unique standards and process instructions for schedule integration activities.
    • Develops schedule status reports.

    • Facilitates success by helping to ensure that the tasks and needs are completed on schedule and timely.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline.
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
    • Hands-on project scheduling experience using MS Project
    • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher. Active clearance preferred.
