What you'll do:


We are looking for compassionate people with a positive attitude for helping others to join our team as a Medical Scheduler.

This position is an essential part of the team that must work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires prior experience with administrative workflows to include checking patients in/out, verifying insurances, effectively communicating instructions with patients, and fielding questions while providing compassionate care.

Most of all, we are looking for people who will bring a positive attitude and who enjoy helping others feel better.


What you will be working on:

  • Patient service oriented, ability to communicate well with patients and team members
  • Enthusiastically demonstrate a willingness to deliver on company priorities of compassionate care with each patient encounter
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication strategies for providing information to patients and team members
  • Excellent understanding and experience with insurance carriers and referral requirements
  • Ability to manage patient flow from check in to hand off with Medical Assistant
  • Routinely Collect copayments and balances
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change with work assignments
  • Prepare charts and check eligibility in advance for patient schedules

What you'll know:


  • A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college is preferred
  • Good understanding of Medical Terminology
  • 23+ years of experience in medical office
  • Experience in Gastroenterology or Endoscopy practice a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Work independently as well as a in a team environment
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers and providers
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
