    Job Summary

    The Account Executive, Equipment Sales, will drive new business growth by leveraging existing relationships, prospecting, and cold calling. The role entails selling industrial equipment and service contracts to end-users, focusing on the Northern Boston Metropolitan area.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Lead the sales process, targeting prospects, proposing solutions, negotiating, and closing deals
    • Provide expert consultancy on critical business issues and strategic initiatives
    • Collaborate with senior management to expand the customer base
    • Share knowledge and strategies with the sales team for business development
    • Utilize the company CRM for effective communication and visibility in the assigned territory
    • Identify opportunities for social selling
    • Participate in training programs and job shadowing to enhance skills
    • Prepare service specifications and pricing in compliance with regulations and policies
    • Determine job costs and market-based pricing
    • Perform other duties as delegated by superiors

    Key Performance Measurements

    • Drive new customer acquisitions
    • Evaluate maintenance, service, and equipment sales revenue against targets
    • Analyze maintenance, service, and equipment gross profit revenue against targets
    • Receive feedback on attitude, diligence, teamwork, and willingness to learn
    • Meet other metrics set by Miner Corp leadership for positive customer and company impact

    Job Requirements

    • Demonstrated ability in prospecting and cold calling for new business
    • Customer service experience is essential
    • Prior Industrial Sales experience is preferred
    • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; further education is advantageous
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Dependable transportation
    • Successful completion of a criminal history background check

    Physical Demands

    The role may require wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), handling tools, using hands, and effective communication. Applicants must have the physical ability to lift tools and equipment, reach, walk, stand, and occasionally stoop or kneel. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus. The high voltage AC/DC power in the work environment necessitates continuous self-awareness.

    Work Environment

    This position operates in various settings like warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, refineries, and hospitals. Employees may work alongside others with moderate activity levels. High voltage exposure is common in many work areas. Noise levels range from moderate to high.
