Position Summary
Monitor and assist in the operation and maintenance of computer equipment in support of an assigned area; trouble shoot equipment problems and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. Employees at this level are required to be fully trained in all procedures related to assigned area of responsibility. May assume project responsibilities and training of new PC Support Specialist Staff.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science; and
One (1) year of experience involving the operation and trouble shooting of automated information systems and associated computer applications.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.
