    Category Business Development Number of Openings 1 Location SoCal Remote Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt Description The Business Development Specialist is a selling role responsible for managing and supporting retail sales and marketing activities for the Asian community for VinFast US nationwide.

    The business development specialist will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet with potential customers.

    This role will be responsible to research client business referrals, networking, CRM leads, and work with clients to consult throughout the sales process.


    RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:
    Identifying, qualifying, securing business opportunities, coordinating business generation activities, and developing customized, targeted sales strategies. Conduct outside sales and build business relationships with potential customers. Understanding customer needs and offering solutions and support, answering potential customer questions and follow-up calls. Establish strategies and successfully execute action plans to achieve delivery, client experience, and sales targets for the project's KPIs. Oversee and lead sales, promotions, marketing, and delivery activities for the projected area, ensuring alignment to brand KPIs. Explore opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize sales and improve the purchase experience for the VinFast US Asian community. Develop and report performance summaries and action plans for presentations to executives as necessary. Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information. Attend conferences and industry events to develop the network. Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.


    Position Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    Prefer Bachelor's Degree in business management, marketing, or related field. 2+ years of progressive work experience in sales and business development. Must be bi-lingual in the Vietnamese language. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.

    Proven track record of success in achieving operational and sales targets Automotive and electric vehicle (EV) experiences are a plus.

    Experience in a start-up environment or with new product launches High level of attention to detail and organization. Able to communicate with C-Level Executives professionally and confidently. Creative problem solver. Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
