Tessa Gordon

Hello! My name is Tessa, and I'm a soon-to-be University of Southern California, graduate. From as early as I can remember, I've known that I belong in the field of advertising and promotion. As a child born to two Ukrainian immigrants, watching advertisements actually helped me learn to speak English! I recall being in elementary school, memorizing the 2008 "Oxy Clean" and "Bump It" commercials and performing them to everyone I knew with a thick, Russian accent. You can say I was (and still am) a tad of an ad nerd. I have spent the past four years honing in on my advertising and marketing skills, learning all aspects of the industry. I have experience in content development, social media management, data analytics, event production, and pitching to influencers and clients. I possess all the necessary tools needed for communication today (generating press kits, proficiency in Adobe Suite and Cision, excellent writing skills, etc.). I believe, however, that what sets me apart is my genuine enthusiasm for brand development and marketing. I believe in the brands I use daily, and I would relish the opportunity of helping them grow. I possess no shortage of creative ideas and am constantly thinking of new ways of helping businesses expand their reach. One day, I hope to develop a campaign that'll resonate with individuals everywhere. Though cliché, I promise you that if considered for this position, I would truly relish this opportunity. I would be your most dedicated employee, arriving first and leaving last. I am determined to make my mark in this field, and I truly hope that it starts here, today.

I have had several internship experiences, ranging from those in social media, creative marketing, in-house work and digital agency work. 

I am graduating summa cum laude from the University of Southern California in May of 2023. I will be receiving a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
