Accounting / Finance / Accounting Management

Accounting Manager (Food Industry)

Up to $130,000 to start plus great benefits and annual bonus

After 90-days, you may have the possibility to transition to a hybrid WFH schedule

JobGiraffe's client family owned & operated establishment with 10 locations in the manufacturing, distribution, restaurant and real estate industries

As Accounting Manager, you will:
Manage daily operations in the Accounting Department

Provide leadership, guidance, direction and oversight to Department Personnel

Allocate labor according to business needs

Oversee A/R and A/P processes

Manage cost accounting for manufacturing facilities

Manage accounting for fixed assets across all locations

Facilitate month-end close and year end close processes

Prepare financial statements

Reconcile balance sheets

Collaborate with leadership teams on budgeting processes

Prepare tax filings in collaboration with external audit and tax teams

Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts

Handle special projects

Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

At least 10 years of Accounting experience

Supervisory experience (5+ Staff)

Related experience from a manufacturer and/or distributor of products

A Bachelor's Degree

Pluses:

A Master's Degree
Food Industry experience
