    Lovelytics is looking for a Project Resourcing Lead to optimize our project staffing process, ensuring our talent is in the right place at the right time, across our technical projects. In this role, you will sit on our delivery services team and collaborate closely with our Engagement Leaders and Sales to understand their staffing needs, develop strategies to meet those needs, and execute plans to ensure optimal resource allocation. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining staffing levels, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

    Location: Lovelytics hires remotely in the following states: MD, DC, CA, IL, IA, IN, MA, NC, TX, TN, GA, CO, NY, NJ, VA, FL, PA, OH, OR with a preference for candidates located near one of our hubs of DC, NY, Austin, Chicago, Nashville, or Toronto, Canada.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engagement leads, sales, and MDs to understand upcoming pipeline and project needs
    • Monitor scheduling, utilization and forecasting reports and provide analysis of the data that assists leadership in making staffing decisions
    • Allocate resources according to project priorities and constraints, taking into account factors such as skill sets, availability, and budget
    • Administer and participate in scheduling/PM system (Mavenlink) and process assimilation and orientation programs for incoming new hires.
    • Utilize and interpret various data points to assign roughly 100 consultants to various projects while considering skill match, availability, and project requirements
    • Conduct resource planning sessions to understand upcoming project demands and plan consultant allocations accordingly, ensuring open, clear, and timely communication on project and resourcing updates.
    • Develop and implement scheduling strategies that increase efficiency and allocate resources most effectively
    • Work hand in hand with HR/Recruiting to communicate and anticipate staffing needs, align on hiring needs, and ensure frequent communication and updates
    • Proactively identify and address staffing challenges, providing quick and practical solutions to prevent project delays

    Ideal Skills and Experiences:

    • Bachelors or Associates Degree – Preferred
    • 3-5 years proven experience in project resource planning or project management including staffing an IT consulting firm
    • Proven ability to resource manage a population of at least 100 people with minimal oversight from a manager.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the experience analyzing complex data sets and make data-driven decisions
    • Excellent communication, both written and verbal as well as interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Strong Microsoft excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and merging capabilities
    • Effective organization and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Ability to respond positively to changing circumstances, seek and implement change to drive business improvement, and serve as a change agent
    • Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization and gap analysis between resource managers and leaders
