    Summary

    This position is located in the United States Mint, Office of the Director, Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, Human Capital Directorate. The Human Capital Directorate is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering human capital programs, advice, products, and services to the United States Mint,

    Duties

    As a/an Human Resources Specialist (Employee & Labor Relations), you will:
  • Provide advice and guidance to supervisors regarding methods with poor employee performance or behavior problems.
  • Serve as an expert in all Labor Management Relations issues affecting agency management, ., significant grievances and arbitration, unfair labor practice charges, representational and negotiability petitions, impasse proceedings, etc.
  • Provide technical advice to agency legal staff in the preparation of defenses to appeals, grievances, and discrimination complaints brought against the United States Mint involving local and national issues.
  • Provide advice regarding the administration of formal performance rating and employee recognition plans.
