    Description

    Our client is a leading manufacturer of machinery systems for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and diagnostic industries. We are looking for a Project Manager to work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients through the entire lifecycle from initial order through installation at their clients' site.

    The PM will be responsible for helping to ensure that equipment is shipped on time, within budget and meets or exceeds customer requirements. They will work on multiple projects and maintain continuous communications with all stakeholders. An ability to provide efficient and effective project management of the projects will directly support the company's strategic growth. Previous experience running complex manufacturing projects and interacting with both internal and external stakeholders will contribute greatly to success. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Effectively manage successful execution of 4 major elements relating to industrial machinery manufacturing and installation at a customer site:
    1. Budget
    2. Timeline
    3. Scope / Performance Specifications
    4. Customer Experience
    • In coordination with internal stakeholders and customers, develop project plans and lead team to each critical milestone.
    • Track and report on all elements of the projects including cost, resources, materials and equipment and alert team of any potential issues that could put successful completion of the project at risk.
    • Manage multiple projects of various sizes and complexity with a focus on both efficiency and effectiveness.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering or Production).
    • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in managing projects that encompass the design and production of complex electrical-mechanical machinery.
    • High mechanical aptitude, sound understanding of engineering principles, machining, assembly, test, and supply chain processes.
    • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail that enable timely execution of projects. Most critical is the ability to function and provide leadership in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated experience building and leading teams and working with varied disciplines. Key attributes include superb communication skills (e.g., listening, writing, presentation, negotiating, etc.) and the ability to work with people with varied skillsets and personality types.
    • Strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft Project Server deployed in a SharePoint environment.
    • Familiarity with cost accounting concepts and MRP / ERP principles.
    • Microsoft Project Management experience.
    • Project Management Institute Certification preferable. (PMP Certification)
