Job Responsibilities:

Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications: This involves reviewing architectural and engineering plans to determine the materials, labor, and other costs required for a construction project.

Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes: This involves assessing proposals from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for various components such as cameras, doors, and overhead doors, ensuring they meet project requirements and budget constraints.

Resolves cost differences by analyzing and collecting info: This responsibility entails identifying discrepancies or disagreements in cost estimates for cameras, doors, and overhead doors, and working to reconcile them through further analysis and information gathering.

Writes up and presents budgets, reports, and project plans: This involves preparing comprehensive documents outlining the project budget, progress reports, and plans for execution, and presenting them to stakeholders such as clients, management, and regulatory authorities.

Develops bids for construction projects: This involves preparing competitive bids for construction projects, including quotes for cameras, doors, and overhead doors, based on project requirements and budget constraints.

Works closely with architects and other professionals: This responsibility involves collaborating with architects, engineers, designers, and other professionals involved in the construction project to ensure alignment of plans, specifications, and budget, including components such as cameras, doors, and overhead doors.

Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff: This involves coordinating meetings with various stakeholders to discuss project progress, address concerns, and make decisions regarding the construction project, including procurement of cameras, doors, and overhead doors.

Navigates and understands building codes: This involves staying informed about local, state, and national building codes and regulations to ensure that the construction project, including the installation of cameras, doors, and overhead doors, complies with all applicable standards.

Reads blueprints: This involves interpreting and analyzing architectural and engineering blueprints to understand project specifications, dimensions, and requirements, including those related to the installation of cameras, doors, and overhead doors.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to navigate specifications and plans
  • Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at once
  • Basic Construction knowledge
  • Close attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree or High School Diploma
  • Certificate in general construction, roofing, electrician etc.
  • At least 56 years of related experience is required

Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour
