Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrated display of analytical skills
- Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
- Creates and reviews Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal and Change Orders.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
- Provides technical support to Project Managers.
- Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
- Performs change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
- Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
- Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors' construction schedules.
- Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
- Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders.
- Attend client program meetings as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tactfully deliver difficult messages, and tailor information to the audience; presents equally well to executives, large and small groups
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with the capability to master client specific programs
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD
- Selfmotivated, able to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
- A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
- Comfortable with frequent or rapid change; flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to effectively manage time, organize and prioritize deliverables and workload
- Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
- Understanding of and commitment to client service
- Domestic travel may be required
Pay:
Up to $115,000.00 per year
