Manage daily operating accounting activity and monthly closing process for multiple real estate projects
Duties will include:
Consolidate and analyze financial results for multiple real estate development projects
Review monthly budgets and cash flow forecasts
Review monthly funding draws
Review and assist team with reconciling commissions and deposit accounts
Assist in preparing monthly management reports and adhoc requests
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Five (5)+ years experience including management experience
Ability to manage accounting for multiple real estate projects-REQUIRED
Experience in posting general ledger journal entries
Experience in preparing and reviewing construction budgets
Experience in technical accounting research, preparing financial statements and related disclosures
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word & Excel and Outlook and financial systems experience
Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to work overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
CPA required, resumes of candidates without a CPA will NOT be considered for hire.
Master's degree in accounting, finance or other business discipline (preferred)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
