    Job Description:

    At EnerBank, the Market Research Manager is responsible for meeting the research needs of the division including market and survey research, qualitative research, industry analysis and pursuing strategic opportunities.

    EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Develops and executes on the market research needs of the organization
    • Oversees the home improvement lending division's survey platform
    • Designs questionnaires leveraging industry best practices
    • Oversees data collection leveraging appropriate sampling methodologies
    • Provides in-depth banking and home improvement industry analysis
    • Conducts focus groups and in-depth interviews (IDI)
    • Coordinates research efforts with other departments and external vendors
    • Builds and maintains reports specific to our research efforts

    This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field
    • Five (5) years of market research or related experience

    Preferences

    • Master's degree in a related field
    • Industry expertise in home improvement and/or financial services

    Skills and Competencies

    • Ability to translate business objective into research objectives and research plans
    • Ability to conduct thorough secondary research (execute on a research plan that involves extensive research of public and privately available data and information)
    • Analytical skills such as basic quantitative analysis, statistics, and regression testing
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Project management skills (planning, managing tasks/responsibilities/deadlines, status updates, etc.)
    • Quantitative market research skills (research management, survey writing, sampling methodology, hypothesis testing, etc.)
    • Qualitative research skills such as focus group facilitation and in-depth interviews
    • Strong excel skills (basic function commands, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
    • Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to present effectively
    • Strong writing skills and the ability to develop written reports

    Compensation Details

    Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

    The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

    $119,260.00 USD
