Led kaizen workshops with the creative services and project management teams to identify inefficiencies in their processes. Modified or rebuilt workflows to provide more collaborative and quality output from all teams.

Built an intake system for all projects coming into the creative services team. Lead the assigning of projects to the project managers and creative services team. Built and trained on protocols for both incoming requests and a new proofing process.

Instituted project management practices such as status meetings, risk reporting, and capacity planning for all work on the team.

Led, onboarded, mentored, and oversaw the new project managers and their work. Trained new team employees in processes, systems, and tools.

Managed hundreds of deliverables in multiple projects.

Led essential projects from scoping and requirements to final products for the University’s Program Development department.

Launched an innovative, first of its kind at WGU, micro-credential program, with four courses, in under five months. Initial cohort originated with 200 students. Projected growth of 90% in the next five years.

Stakeholder management of 12 working teams that includes executive level leadership, B2B partners, internal teams, and new vendors. Facilitate and lead meetings, present plans and results, identify and work to mitigate documented risks.

Project manager for two major initiatives in the University’s program development: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Curriculum and Assessments and Assessment Modernization.

Influences stakeholders to challenge traditional processes and develop innovative methodologies to design products.

Initiated and planned design and development of the first Micro-Bachelors program on the edX platform. Worked with international vendors plus the internal team to produce a new program in just over five months.

Led the program for the CHG brand evolution. This work entailed bringing together creative, brand, development, freelance, communications, and PR teams to launch the new brand in a coordinated release.

Researched and tested Agile principles in creative, development, and brand environments. As Agile sweeps the development world I have looked at how the principles can be applied to other types of projects to gain greater efficiency, clearer goals and tasks, and more collaborative teams.
