    About the Role

    The VP, Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization globally and leads a department of high- functioning HR professionals. You will play a pivotal role in driving our people strategy, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and ensuring that our workforce aligns with our business goals. This is a senior leadership position that requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

    This is a hybrid position located in our New York City office.

    How you will provide meaningful contributions:
    • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
    • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive leadership team regarding key organizational and management issues.
    • Work with the company's executive leadership team to establish a sound workforce and hiring plan that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
    • Lead the development and maintenance of a vibrant and inclusive company culture that reflects our values and supports team member engagement, well-being, and retention.
    • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
    • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, including, research and proposal competitive base and incentives to attract and retain top talent.
    • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of initiatives, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
    • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function.
    Qualifications for Consideration:
    • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
    • A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience and at least 5 years of international HR experience; experience in tech, fintech, and private equity preferred.
    • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
    • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

    The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location. Salary range: $200-300K
