***The Human Resources Manager will be accountable for all aspects of HR administration with a strong focus on compliance, compensation and benefits, total culture enhancement, safety, performance management, and employee relations. This individual must be an organized leader with the ability to work with different levels of leaders and lead by example. Must possess considerable knowledge of management-labor relations; the principles, practices, and procedures of Human Resources Management.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daytoday administration and execution of Human Resource programs including but not limited to onboarding, offboardings, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; employee recognition and engagement; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handle employee relations, investigations, disputes, and conflict resolution, performance management matters.
  • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions by analyzing information.
  • Maintain consistent practices with company policy/procedures and help align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Support annual review, preparation, and administration of the Company's wage and salary.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on what is needed.
  • Coordinate, support, and facilitate employee engagement and recognition programs such as birthday & anniversary celebrations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Maintain constant communication with departments to ensure a constant Human Resources presence.
  • Handle employmentrelated inquiries from employees and escalate as needed.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; ensure timely reporting of accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to insurance as well as managers/chefs.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional alliances.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure the Company's compliance
  • Participate in committees and special projects as needed.
  • Exercise considerable judgment, confidentiality, and discretion during the course of employment activity.
  • Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as per business needs.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:


  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, within the hospitality field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of Human Resources management experience, within the hospitality field preferred.
  • Experience working with a majority nonexempt workforce
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources or related field.
  • Superior organization skills with the ability to oscillate between priorities quickly
  • Collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Resultsoriented with the ability to effectively manage projects and tight deadlines.
  • Serviceoriented, collaborative approach has exceptional followup and organization skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, high EQ, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Must possess excellent oral, written, presentation, and listing skills.
  • Able to work inoffice 5 days per week
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
