**Warehouse Operations Manager**
at Novinium Ft. Worth **Position Summary**
This position is responsible for managing all Texas based warehouses, material coordinator and warehouse employees, and for performing all warehouse functions in support of field operations.
**Responsibilities**
Plan and execute activities to ensure field operations have all materials and equipment needed to complete their work.
Oversee all Texas supply chain employees and distribution centers.
Help develop plans for expanding infrastructure as the Oncor job continues to grow.
Provide support for our corporate fleet department as needed.
Manage second level distribution of customer supplied materials are warehoused and accounted for in the customers ERP system.
Participate in the auditing/counting of Texas warehouse and ensure proper reporting to accounting.
Manage all warehouse employees as to achieve the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness possible.
Train and mentor direct reports as well as develop peers wherever possible.
Positively influence the use of best practices in all functions of the supply chain activities and inter-department interactions.
Provide a main point of contact for Operations and Corporate Supply Chain for inventory release requests.
Manage multiple requests from various departments based on predetermined priority.
Provide assistance to Engineering and Training for special projects and to other departments as directed.
Ensure all repair and pre-trip information pertaining to key tools and materials used in the field.
Manage systems related to ordering and distributing physical material and equipment to the field.
Develop and maintain a functional lay-out for the warehouse.
Provide monthly inventory verifications per Novinium cycle count program.
Provide purchasing with requisitions and feedback as to stock levels and potential shortages.
**Requirements**
Understanding of basic shipping/receiving principles.
Lead/Mentor front line and supervisory employees.
Develop and implement quality assurance programs and documentation.
Ability to focus on time sensitive work items to ensure that deadlines are met or exceeded.
Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet/web) preferred.
5 years of shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse role preferred.
3 years of warehouse supervisory/management experience in a hands-on role preferred.
Bachelors degree in Business from accredited college or equivalent education preferred.
**Working Conditions**
Able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 75 lbs. for a distance of 300 ft.
Able to stand, kneel and work in confined spaces for an extended period of time.
Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.
