    Role: Human Resources Generalist

    Location: Charlotte, NC

    Type: Contract to Hire

    Overview:

    We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile HR Generalist to join our team in a contract-to-hire role. You will play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support, including managing employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll backup. With at least 8 years of experience in a similar role, you possess strong HR knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic company and potentially transition to a permanent role.

    Responsibilities:

    Human Resources Generalist:

    • Conduct employee onboarding, performance reviews, and terminations.
    • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflict and addressing employee concerns.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
    • Assist with recruitment and selection processes.
    • Oversee employee benefits administration (e.g., health insurance, retirement plan).
    • Provide HR support to management and staff.

    Payroll Backup:

    • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
    • Troubleshoot payroll issues and answer employee inquiries.
    • Prepare and submit payroll reports.
    • Maintain payroll tax compliance.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
    • Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance preferred.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software systems.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong sense of accuracy.
    • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
