    Want to work for a leader in commercial lighting solutions? With a competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions?Our client is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to grow sales in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

    This position does require up to 75% travel throughout the region.

    Company leads are providedEssential Duties Contact and secure new business as well as maintain and grow existing business through sales calls, phone contacts, job site visits, distributor training, trade shows, etc.

    Achieve targeted sales growth for assigned territory at a rate and profit margin consistent with the strategic business plan Prioritize call activity to customers to uncover new opportunities to quote, convert existing quotes to orders, offer promotions, cross-sell and up sell additional products, answer technical questions and any other territory or company initiatives.

    Set customer specific pricing as defined in the bottom-up approach. Utilize to forecast and track all sales activity and territory communications, including won/lost opportunities. Meet or exceed performance metrics for outbound calls, sales goals and customer support. Work with field sales on larger opportunities to ensure closure and post-sale satisfaction. Engage in appropriate training opportunities relative to business and product knowledge and enhancements to maintain continuous education for self-development. Requirements 3+ yrs outside sales experience with a track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals Prior experience in commercial lighting or similar field required Ability to travel up to 75% on a monthly basis Experience with Salesforce, Salesnet, Edge and/or JD Edwards a plus; strong computer skills required Experience both growing a customer base and also increasing spend on current accounts Benefits Health, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(K) with a 5% company match Travel reimbursement and per diem Company credit card provided for business expenses Wellness reimbursement options available
