    Job Summary

    Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the planning team for our ACS Kitting facilities. Assists in developing and ensuring the uniform implementation of planning policies and procedures. Recommends and initiates projects and efforts to streamline and improve production schedule adherence.

    Core Responsibilities
    • Staff supervision, team development and serving as a positive role model to vigorously ensure high quality and delivery from the Planning team.
    • Develop Key Performance Indicators, ensure daily collection/reporting and propose corrective actions when indicators are not within required range.
    • Communicate organizational strategies, provide focus, and ensure alignment with the planning teams daily activities and projects.
    • To provide coaching and performance/work habits feedback to members of the planning team.
    • When necessary to document and improve performance/work habits of employees.
    • Use knowledge and experience to guide and mentor the planning team to collaboratively produce locked production schedules for custom and standard finished good production.
    • Communicate component issues to the appropriate departments and ensure proper communication flow from the entire planning team.
    • Identifies slow moving Finished Trays and assists in the reduction of these components.
    • Refresh and distribute the CPS report to the Planning team and additional recipients daily.
    • Monitors every assigned tray for customer usage (Estimated Monthly Usage (EMU)). Analyzes actual consumption compared against established forecast and adjusts accordingly.

    Qualifying Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED is required.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role is preferred.
    • 5 - 10 years of experience planning and scheduling or a related field is required.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
    • Experience in a medical supply/components production environment is preferred.
    • Requires a strong background in/knowledge of medical supplies/components and the manufacturing / production of medical trays.

    • Proven ability to work well as a team member.
    • Must be able to maintain a professional attitude in difficult situations.
    • Must possess a strong work ethic and a proven ability to work independently, and an ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
    • Uses knowledge, experience to perform all work independently, with little or no direct supervision and in accordance with verbal and written instructions and processes provided for guidance.
    • Must possess strong problem-solving skills.
    • Capable of independently handling multi-task projects in a high stress environment and meeting aggressive deadlines within requested time frames
    • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, customers, and vendors in person and on the telephone.
    • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to compose written documents with clearly organized thoughts and proper sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar.
    • Ability to calculate basic mathematical figures.
    • Must possess an ability to operate standard office equipment.
    • Capable of independently handling multi-task projects in a high stress environment and meeting aggressive deadlines within requested time frames
