    Hennepin Health is looking for an IT Technical Services Supervisor to oversee technical staff involved in technology planning, installation, and maintenance of system software, ensuring smooth IT operations aligned with company goals. This role focuses on driving innovation, optimizing IT investments, and upkeeping a secure IT infrastructure.

    Location and Hours:

    This hybrid role can be done both on-site at the Human Services Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and remotely as needed. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

    New hires for remote or hybrid roles between January 2, 2022, and December 31, 2024, will receive support towards consistent internet connectivity after 6 months of employment.

    About the Position:

    This is a full-time position with benefits in the Information Technology (IT) Technical Services Supervisor category.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in developing and implementing architectural strategies to meet departmental business requirements.
    • Lead and manage IT professionals, ensuring they are trained, goal-oriented, and well-equipped for projects.
    • Oversee the design and maintenance of IT infrastructure, focusing on security, reliability, and scalability.
    • Implement data integration strategies to ensure data quality and consistency.
    • Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring data and system security and compliance.
    Requirements:
    • One of the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of senior system software experience, or Associate's degree with 5+ years at a senior system software level, or 7+ years of experience in senior system software programming or IT supervisory roles.
    Nice to Have:
    • Experience in leading IT teams, SQL development, data warehouse projects, and automating business processes.
    • Ability to maintain effective relationships, drive technological advancements, and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
