    Description

    Are you a skilled and passionate sales representative with a track record of success in sales? Do you have a natural ability to build relationships with customers and close deals? If so, we are looking for you

    Our company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales representative to join our team. As a sales rep, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and expanding relationships with key accounts, and closing sales.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, manage, and execute sales strategy, sales plans, to achieve quarterly and annual goals within the NE sales territory
    • Maintain and continuously expand customer base with emphasis on major accounts
    • Communicate feedback to management on trends in market
    • Communicate major customer information, revenue target progress, and product forecasts with accuracy and on a regular basis
    • Attend local and national tradeshows
    • Create customer pricing strategies
    • Deliver technical presentations on products to customers

    Requirements:

    • BS Degree in life science area, or equivalent work experience
    • Experience or knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, microarrays and NGS

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MS or PhD in life science area preferred
    • Minimum 3 years proven sales experience
    • Experience selling genomic products or services
    • Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to manage large amounts of technical data and documentation
    • Knowledge of liquid handling robotics a plus
