The NVIDIA Retail team is helping retailers identify the top AI use cases that will deliver the highest business value. We are looking for a Retail Business Development leader to focus on driving our computer vision and edge solutions through our OEM and reseller network. What you'll be doing: Reporting to the GM of Retail industries, you will be responsible for driving the worldwide revenue growth strategies for NVIDIA's edge solutions for Retail in support of the overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy. You will help extend NVIDIA's sales team, by creating alignment and training of our OEMs and channel partners on our strategy. You will be responsible for defining the edge segment growth strategy and a sales coverage model to support these growth strategies to achieve stretch sales revenue targets in collaboration with key regional sales leads. As a senior business development leader, we would like to see demonstrated ability in building new product revenues from scratch and achieving significant volume and scale. In this role, you will collaborate with our field sales organization, channel partners, data science solution architects, and Developer Relations teams to:
    • Develop a GTM and business plan and establish long-term business relationships with channel partners as an extension of NVIDIA's sales team to jointly pursue Edge AI opportunities in Retail and QSR.
    • Build a robust pipeline through OEM and NPN partners and introduce our ISVs to our channel partners to provide solutions such as autonomous shopping, Loss prevention, stockout and store analytics.
    • Develop light House accounts by identifying customers in retail, CPG and QSR market that would like to technically collaborate with NVIDIA Data Science and CV teams to build their own Edge AI solutions.
    • Collaborate with our retail sales team to drive demand and increase pipeline by applying the various ISV solutions to address industry challenges, such as shrink, Retail Organized Crime, stockout and autonomous shopping.
    • Build and develop sales operations process management, including opportunity management and pipeline forecasting to incorporate pipeline driven by OEMs and ISVs.
    What we need to see:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS from a leading University (or equivalent experience). Master's degree and/or MBA is desirable
    • 15+ overall years of business development and sales experience in retail technology systems, software or embedded products. Experience leading an overlay sales organization is highly desirable.
    • 5+ years of management experience.
    • Possess a global client contact base, deep domain expertise, and an understanding of sales and buying practices in the retail industry
    • Business knowledge of the global retail industry market dynamics
    • Experience with leading alliances and driving sophisticated deals.
    • Regular review of sales opportunities and account business plans and manage the monthly revenue forecast
    • Collaborate & motivate a virtual team of sales managers.
    • Work with the General Manager of Retail and product management teams to ensure customer technical bottlenecks are addressed by the Retail Platform.
    Ways to stand out from the crowd:
    • Knowledge of AI and Analytics, combined with deep understanding of the retail industry
    • Proven track record to present complex technical content such as AI to customers, while articulating the business value and RIO of AI.
    • 10+ years demonstrated ability in identifying and qualifying new customers to enable revenue opportunities
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Retail industry and understanding of current business challenges and technical foundation to establish credibility with customers and/or internal partners
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to persuade - using simple communication that conveys sophisticated concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.
