    Alokit

    is one of India's premier school leadership organisations, founded in 2020.

    We work closely with government systems and provide training and coaching to school leaders to develop their leadership practices and improve student outcomes.

    Since 2020, we have worked with over 1500 school leaders across 7 different government partners and have reached 300,000 students in India.

    Alokit builds the capacity of school leaders and education officers to improve the outcomes of students belonging to underprivileged communities.

    Position Summary


    As the Communications Manager at Alokit, the individual will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of Alokit's marketing campaigns and amplifying brand visibility across multiple platforms – both online and offline.

    The Communications Manager will drive brand salience through social media marketing, PR as well as stakeholder engagement for donors, partners, CSRs, NGOs, CSOs, and the education ecosystem at large.

    Fueling conversations around Alokit's work and school leadership with the public at large will be a critical component of this role.

    Job Responsibilities

    Social Media:
    Managing Alokit's social media presence and driving audience engagement through an effective content marketing strategy; monitoring and analyzing social media metrics and campaign outcomes to create a set of actionable learnings

    Communication Strategy:
    Planning brand communication/campaigns from ideation to execution w.r.t creative idea, visual design and copy

    Liasoning with the Program Teams to get stories and ground updates for communication use

    Conceptualizing and writing the content for stakeholder communication like newsletters, project reports, mailers etc.

    Media and PR:
    Creating PR opportunities for the organization with traditional as well as digital media outlets and writing the content (where required)

    Events:
    Assist the team in designing and conducting org-level events like webinars and conferences

    Ensuring the organization's brand protocols are met across all external communication

    Website:
    Managing Alokit website with updated information

    Qualification and Experience

    Bachelor's or equivalent degree required

    3 years of work experience, at least 2 years in a communications/marketing role (preferred)

    Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms and understanding of online audience behaviour

    Have a flair for writing excellent copy and content and designing graphics on Canva, Photoshop, etc.

    Additional experience working on Squarespace, Mailchimp etc., is desirable

    Able to leverage AI tools for branding and communication

    Enjoy creative ideation and is excited to try new creative approaches

    Enjoy collaborating with people and building partnerships

    Compensation Salary range – ₹4,50,000 – ₹6,50,000 per annum
