- Work with the Director of Ancillary Underwriting, Field Account Executives and Sales to develop and implement marketing strategies for new and renewal accounts
- Provide daily client services for our ancillary business; process policies, endorsements, invoicing, certificates, etc.
- Respond to client/broker and carrier inquiries in an accurate and timely manner
- Manage compliance and adherence for each account
- Analyze client policies to determine accuracy
- Liaison between internal departments to provide communication and support to external sources (i.e. Sales, Broker support, carrier vendors etc.)
- Responsible for electronic file set-up and maintenance, along with ongoing filing and documentation of client meetings/issues/decisions
- Plan, prioritize and complete day-to-day workload, considering new business, renewal business and day-to-day service responsibilities for the ancillary accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal/external deadlines are met
- Responsible and accountable for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information
- Follow HIPAA security policies and procedures affecting your job, and report any suspected or actual violation or breach
- Other projects and duties assigned
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required
- 5+ years of working ancillary product knowledge required (including but not limited to Life/AD&D, LTD, STD, FMLA, Leave and Absence, Dental, Vision, etc.)
- Strong operational mindset will be imperative to success
- Strong ability to analyze facts and use critical thinking skills
- Strong ability to work independently and on strict timelines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Must already have or be willing to obtain Arizona Life & Health Insurance License
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail is a necessity
