IFF is looking for an energized Senior Account Manager to become part of our NOAM consumer fragrance commercial team.In this role you will have the opportunity to impact the regional strategy plan to achieve profitable growth in line with the global organization.
Working in a collaborative team environment, IFF will be looking for you to partner with the Creative team - Perfumers, Scent Design Group, CI and Marketing, and our scent innovation and technology group to showcase IFF's creative capabilities.
This role is based in our Bellworks Creative Center in Holmdel, NJ, but ideally we are looking for a candidate who had flexibility to work out of our New York City office as needed.
Job RequirementsAbout You
To be successful in this role you will hold a deep passion in commercial strategy and product development (Marketing/R&D) along with 10+ years of experience in the consumer goods industry within a sales, marketing or technical function.
A dynamic commercial candidate who is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and can have roundtable discussions with various key stakeholders in your customer's Procurement, Marketing/CI and Technical/R&D teams.
Has identified white space opportunities, identified commercial targets and has built commercial strategies to go after offensive projects and/or defend key business.
Can effectively problem solve by showing initiative to find solutions and can offer options to senior management for critical decision making.
Basic knowledge of the sales negotiation process and/or supplier contracts.Has experience with technically challenging projects i.e. stability issues, etc.
Has the ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
