The
Account Manager at VHA is responsible for managing relationships with independent wireless store owners. This role involves using consultative sales strategies to assist business owners in hitting sales metrics. This position requires traveling overnight to nearby states 1-2 times per month.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Business Owner Engagement: Collaborate with business owners to understand their sales goals and provide support in achieving them. Utilize a consultative approach to enhance store performance.
  • Manage by Influence: Establish trusted advisor relationships with business owners, fostering a supportive and resultsdriven partnership.
  • Field Visits: Conduct regular visits to stores as a handson approach to support and engage with business owners.
  • Referral Follow-Up: identify sales potential.

Business Owners:
Previous experience and the ability to work with business owners is a key requirement for this position.

  • Sales Experience: Strong sales experience is essential for influencing and working with business owners to achieve sales metrics.
  • Result-Oriented: We seek team members who possess a strong drive for achieving results, demonstrating a proactive and goalfocused approach to their responsibilities.

Qualifications and Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent of 2 years of field sales experience.
  • 2 years of field sales/account management experience is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Occasional travel required (local and long distance).
  • Valid driver's license and successful background/drug screen test.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with business hours from Monday to Friday. Some long hours and weekend work may be required. Field visits to stores are a key aspect of the role.
