    Description
    Our nonprofit client in Washington, DC is hiring for a temporary Facilities and Operations Coordinator. This contract is expected to run for a minimum of 3 months. The Facilities & Operations Coordinator serves as a member of a team which provides customer service to staff, volunteers, tenants, clients, and visitors. This position will require someone who is comfortable being on their feet for the majority of the day and also that is able to lift boxes and tables.     Responsibilities

    Operations and Hospitality:

    ● Serve as the back-up building Receptionist

    ● Provide hospitality and customer service to staff, volunteers, tenants, clients, and visitors

    ● Manage and direct incoming telephone calls

    ● Handle basic safety and security procedures.

    ● Sort and deliver mail and packages to staff and tenants

    ● Prepare parcels and packages for shipping

    ● Deliver paper, coffee, and other supplies to floors

    ● Manage inventory of supplies

    ● Respond to Operations HelpDesk requests

    ● Move, organize and manage stock in storage

    ● Assist with the Pride events storage, shipping and fulfillment project

    ● Printing request production and fulfillment

    ● Provides excellent customer service to staff, tenants, and visitors, and works with all of the Operations team to create a welcoming space and environment

    Events:

    ● Support Associate Director – Operations and Events administering events

    ● Interact professionally and courteously with event organizers, caterers, and attendees

    ● Set-up and break-down spaces to meet event requirements

    ● Ensure technology resources (projectors, Zoom equipment, etc) are available and functioning as required by the event
