Position Summary:

The DCCC is hiring an Organizing Operations Coordinator to manage the logistics/accounts payable for our District HQ program and assist the Organizing Department in running a smooth National program.

This role will work to ensure that Organizing Directors and their programs in districts have the infrastructure and tools they need to be successful.

Strong applicants will be very organized and detail-oriented, as this work requires precision while working on multiple tasks at the same time.

This person will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the department's work in the 2024 cycle.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Manage DCCC District Headquarter utility bills, and supplies
  • Work with Organizing Directors and Regional Organizing Directors to assist with District HQ needs and responsibilities
  • Manages collaboration with Organizing Operations Director in processing accounts payable
  • Facilitates vendor payments, tracking and reconciliation of budget
  • Track department payments and regularly audit open accounts
  • Other operation tasks as needed

Requirements:


  • At least once cycle or six months of prior campaign or nonprofit organizing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent organization
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management, and interpersonal skills preferred managing large/complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing similar projects preferred
  • A positive, teamoriented attitude
