- Enforce fleet processes and ensure all equipment management systems are updated timely and accurately.
- Analyze life cycle and utilization rates, making recommendations on replacement, addition and/or sale of assets as needed.
- Follow procedures for acquisition and divestiture of fleet assets including on-road and off-road equipment.
- Monitor equipment orders are filled in a timely manner from start to finish.
- Maintain owned fleet asset utilization.
- Interact with field operations to fill project needs.
- Ensure data systems are updated timely and accurately.
- Audits equipment statuses regularly.
- Responsible for compliance to all Company policies and practices as well as any government regulations (Insurance, Registration, DOT, etc.).
- At least 5 years experience in fleet management and equipment operations.
- Sound knowledge of computer software such as Access, Excel, ViewPoint, P-Vault.
- Ability to follow instruction and communicate effectively.
- Proven ability to multi-task.
- Think and act strategically carrying out long-term plans to meet operational needs and departmental goals.
- Equipment Rental Industry experience preferred.
