SUMMARY
Coordinate and supervise drivers and equipment in a manner that complies with company policy to meet or exceed customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Dispatch assigned driver base.
Coordinate, track, and maintain drivers and equipment in a real time manner that includes drivers' disposition at all times, equipment cleaned and scheduled for maintenance to ensure maximum utilization of both.
Make sound decisions that balance customer, driver, and our business objectives which result in a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness.
Handle proactive and reactive communication with drivers/internal departments/customers.
Conduct a physical count on the yard of all equipment.
Effectively interact with Customer Service, Maintenance, Safety, and Training to ensure accurate and timely information related to dispatching drivers and equipment, communicating in a manner compliant with Service Transport standards.
Document and communicate all exceptions related to Safety and Service to the appropriate department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
