Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and services. Your role will involve communicating with drivers, analyzing transportation data, and ensuring efficient fleet management.

Duties:

• Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods and services
• Communicate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Analyze transportation data to optimize routes and improve efficiency
• Monitor driver performance and provide feedback as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Use transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management

Skills:

• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in analyzing data and making informed decisions
• Ability to type accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of fleet management principles and practices
• Familiarity with 3PL (thirdparty logistics) operations
• Understanding of logistics processes and transportation regulations
