**What we need.**
We are looking for a Sr. Shopper Marketing Manager to lead Daring's marketing efforts across our expanding retail and foodservice footprint. The Shopper Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategies, plans, programs and tools to maximize demand and engage consumers across the path to purchase. The ideal candidate will have both a marketing and sales mindset with a particular focus on growing emerging categories and brands within large and mid-sized retailers. They have intimate knowledge of the grocery landscape and shopper marketing best practices. They're a highly organized, self-motivated, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help shape the future of a young, growing consumer brand.
**What youll do.**
Establish a holistic shopper marketing framework for Daring, inclusive of tiered initial launch and sustained support strategies for the retail channel
Lead go-to-market efforts to launch Daring in new retail & foodservice accounts; responsibilities include authoring and delivering comprehensive omnichannel marketing campaign briefs and providing cross functional project leadership to stakeholders across sales, creative, marketing, media and ops teams
Drive demand at retail through strategic and integrated omnichannel programs leveraging best practices, data, consumer insights and past program performance
Plan and execute a full year shopper marketing calendar, inclusive of both retailer specific and retailer agnostic programming and tactics
Partner with the sales team to deliver best in class account-level marketing plans, strategically aligning tactics with promotional calendars & retailer priorities
Establish relationships with shopper marketing vendors and agencies (ex: Quotient, Ibotta, Shopkick, Catalina, Inmar) and facilitate program planning and execution in partnership with paid media and ecommerce leads as appropriate
Advance Darings omnichannel marketing strategy by evaluating and testing new trial-driving and demand generation opportunities across various retailers, leading post-program analysis to deliver actionable insights and optimize future programs
Develop exceptional working relationships with key customer stakeholders including but not limited to retailer & foodservice operator marketing teams
Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for the Daring sales team, addressing retail & foodservice marketing opportunities and requests as they emerge
Manage annual shopper marketing budget, maximizing return on investment
Contribute to annual business planning process to identify growth opportunities and help define the annual go-to-market plan from a shopper marketing perspective
Provide ongoing program updates and reports to leadership and key cross functional stakeholders, elevating key learnings and timely opportunities
**Who you are.**
4-6 years experience in shopper marketing or related field at an established or high growth CPG brand, or shopper marketing agency
Previous experience working with grocery and/or mass retailers and the foodservice channel a major plus
Previous experience leading teams a plus
Familiar with shopper marketing vendors and agencies; existing relationships a plus
Customer-oriented approach with experience in omni-channel marketing and strong examples of effectively driving sales both in store and online
Self starter with a bias for action who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by a dynamic, fast paced startup environment
Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Innovative, with an ability to identify and advance creative solutions to deliver impactful demand generation programs
Collaborative leader who excels at influencing and leading cross functional teams
Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance from manager
Skilled in advancing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency and ownership over work
Sales data literacy and familiarity with syndicated POS and panel data sources such as SPINS, Numerator, IRI or Nielsen
Solid quantitative skills and financial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
Impressive presentation skills; comfortable presenting in meetings with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
