    Position Summary

    We are currently seeking an Account Manager II to join our team full-time at DBI. The Account Manager II will play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding relationships with key clientele, providing top-tier customer support, and showcasing DBI's offerings. This role involves identifying fresh business prospects, delivering sales pitches, and engaging in contract negotiations.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as a bridge between the project team and the DBI Operations unit.
    • Offer continuous support and solutions to assigned client base.
    • Suggest customer-centric and solution-oriented resolutions.
    • Collaborate with the Business Development Executive to onboard and cultivate new clients.
    • Maintain updated knowledge on products.
    • Promptly resolve any customer issues.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability in building and nurturing relationships.
    • Excellent organizational, meeting facilitation, and presentation abilities.
    • Exemplary integrity and business ethics.
    • Self-driven, proactive, and accountable for outcomes.
    • Adept at working in a fast-evolving environment.
    • Frequent travel within designated territory, with 70% client and dealer meetings and occasional overnight stays.
    • Efficient use of office technology, communication tools, and CRM systems.
    • Handle small purchase requests and oversee sales processes to completion.


    Design Responsibilities

    • Assist the project team in creating interior design documents and presentations.
    • Aid in material and furniture selections, space planning, and liaising with product representatives.
    • Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure design compatibility.
    • Perform on-site design tasks.
    • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams on commercial interiors projects.
    • Manage and execute different project design phases.
    • Interpret sketches, drawings, and other design-related material.
    • Effective organizational and prioritization abilities.
    • Some travel required based on client needs and locations.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited design school.
    • 2+ years of successful sales or account management experience preferred.
    • 1-3 years in the office furniture industry is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
