    Description


    Sr. Technical Program Management

    The qualified applicant oversees and manages the program aspects of multiple ongoing projects and provides leadership and oversight between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of program, reviews and approves schedules and is responsible for Program status reports, assesses, and documents program issues and risks, and drives resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Program Manager develops mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for intervention and problem solving with supporting project managers, line managers, and clients.

    As a Sr. Technical Program Manager, the qualified applicant will have ultimate ownership and accountability for all program AWS Cloud projects for the migration of on-premise applications and databases to Cloud systems.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    · Takes ownership and accountability of program.

    · Responsible for the overall program administration, planning, tasking, scheduling, communications, problem resolution, deliverables, and technical performance of the project activities defined in the Task Order Statements of Work (SOW).

    · Manages the program with multiple projects of significant complexity, size, risk and complex interdependencies.

    · Review and approval all project schedules and deliverables and ensure they are aligned with client requirements.

    · Be responsible for ensuring all project schedules are on track, deliverables are met and client escalations are addressed.

    · Monitor progress and reports to customer and manager. Ensures quality of team's work and on-time completion.

    · Serves as Peraton's primary point of contact to the customer program leads. Interacts with client to understand program requirements and timelines, to ensure resources availability, and existing assets to leverage.

    · Interfaces with the customer and internal/external stakeholders to ensure client-satisfaction regarding program goals and objectives.

    · Provides status and monthly reports regarding the tracking and presentation of program deliverables.

    · Leads team meetings and maintains strong, positive interoffice and client relations. Represents team in cross-organizational workgroups, communities of practice, project teams, etc. Collaborates with client to define new projects and strategic initiatives.

    · Ensure violations do not occur within the program by taking a proactive role in the constant vigilance and rigor to emphasize compliance throughout all levels of the program (systems, personnel, and data).

    Basic Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a minimum of 15 years of experience.

    · 10 years of demonstrated software development lifecycle, program management, planning, organizing, staffing, reporting, coordinating, and directing all aspects of a program from inception through completion.

    · 10 years technical and program management experience, including diverse experience in the development, integration, operations and/or maintenance of complex systems and technologies.

    · 10 years of demonstrated program management and customer focus experience with SharePoint development teams and projects.

    · 5 years of demonstrated AWS Cloud migration project management experience.

    · Ability to respond effectively to changing events and competing priorities internally and with the client.

    · Effective oral and written communications skills, capable of translating and presenting complex technical and project management concepts to management and customers, through presentations and other written formats.

    · Working knowledge of SharePoint.

    · Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · AWS Practitioner / AWS Architect Certification

    · Customer account management and business development experience
