Who we are
HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a
GWAC/IDIQ Program Manager to help grow existing and new business using our portfolio of master contract vehicles (ex. OASIS, MAS, ASTRO).

The GWAC/IDIQ Program Manager will be responsible for business development, customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement and education, reporting, opportunity distribution, contract deliverables, and issue resolution.

The position is in Fairfax, VA, with the opportunity for telework.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as HII's pointofcontact to both government and industry for each assigned GWAC/IDIQ.
  • Consult with HII's internal business units regarding contract scope and features/benefits and recommend relevant acquisition strategies.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and support pipeline development.
  • Monitor procurement portals and ensure task order distribution to internal channels.
  • Provide bid/nobid recommendations on opportunities.
  • Support capture efforts and contribute to proposal responses, ensuring submissions are compliant with master contract requirements.
  • Produce accurate and timely contract reports.
  • Develop/maintain all websites, marketing materials and collateral.
  • Participate in marketing events such as program management reviews and conferences.
  • Identify, shape and lead the capture of new government wide GWACs/IDIQs.
  • Participate in industry groups/committees and bring market insights back to HII.

What you need to have:


  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Experience working with MAC/IDIQ/GWAC master contract vehicles and task orders.
  • Working relationships with GSA contract PMOs.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Exemplary work ethic, judgment and independent initiative attuned to meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communicator and leader, able to coordinate multiple matrixed resource teams and influence those not in direct line of authority.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills capable of creating professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers.
  • Experience identifying key growth areas and opportunities aligned with corporate growth strategies.
