5+ years of experience directly mission critical facilities, including but not limited to data center infrastructure.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of construction, commissioning, building automation experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work from the corporate office at the cadence required per company policy.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the year, including international travel.
Ability and willingness to use personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office, all reimbursed.

Key job responsibilities

Work with our regional and global partners to scale, drive, and continuously improve AWS Colo processes related to construction, commissioning, building monitoring, and cost control.
Identify process gaps and lead initiatives across internal and external stakeholders to mitigate said gaps.
Review and provide feedback to stakeholder deliverables affecting the build phase, including site qualification, stakeholder engagement, milestone planning, contracting, and quality and handover protocols.
Provide project management support of build activities in Colocation data centers when needed.
Provide metrics to measure program achievements and opportunities for improvement.
Provide guidance to Colo stakeholders of new or updated processes.
Deliver measurable results that improve Colo quality, schedule, and cost.

2+ years of experience related to the Colocation data center industry and 2+ years of program management experience.
