What You Will Do:
As an IT Support Specialist at Payless Power, you will provide essential technical support and service to our internal teams. You'll ensure all our computer systems and related equipment run smoothly, helping maintain our IT infrastructure while resolving technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Provide troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
Promptly respond to support requests via various channels.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
Collaborate with IT team members on issue escalation and resolution.
Document all interactions and solutions to enhance our knowledge base.
Participate in IT projects like system upgrades and security audits.
Offer training and advice on IT best practices to staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
Keen interest in emerging IT trends and technologies.
Excellent communication skills with a knack for explaining technical details.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Windows OS and common software applications.
Experience in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and familiarity with ticketing systems.
Familiarity with ITIL best practices and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceDesk, Asana).
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, moving equipment, and prolonged standing.
