    LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting our client with a contract role for a senior accountant. This is a temporary role to assist in the interim and is hybrid in Chicago. This role will focus on month end close and reporting. They are looking for a senior accountant with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 5 years of experience as an accountant in a more senior role.

    Responsibilities:

    Month end close

    Prepare journal entries

    Reconcile accounts

    Monthly financial reporting

    General ledger and variance analysis

    Required:

    A minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting

    CPA preferred, but not required

    Microsoft Excel pivot tables and look ups

    Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate effective

    Must be able to work independently and be analytical

    Pay: $40-$50/hour

    Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
