    Description

    LaSalle Network has partnered with a dynamic and fast-growing marketing agency located in the heart of ChicagoAs the firm expands, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our client's financial statements, month-end close activities, mentoring junior staff members and collaborating with executive leaders to drive financial performance and growth.     Enjoy competitive compensation packages of $80,000 - $95,000 plus full health insurance, unlimited PTO and a free trip awarded after one year of service. Our client also offers ample opportunities for professional development and growth.

    Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
    • Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial analysis
    • Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success
    • Collaborate with executive leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making processes
    • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
    • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed to support the finance team and overall business objectives
    Senior Accountant Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels
    • Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring and developing junior staff members
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
    • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
