    Description


    We are looking for a talented Engineer to join the Prime Air Team at Amazon!


    If you are passionate about driving innovation and using cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world delivery challenges, then this position is perfect for you.


    As an Engineer in the Product Support Organization team, you will play a crucial role in deploying hardware and software functionality, investigating issues, and designing ground support equipment for a critical program across various disciplines.


    The role demands strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to innovate within design limitations.


    Effective communication is key to building trust and alignment between design and operations teams.


    You will collaborate with engineers, manufacturers, and operational experts from all Prime Air teams to ensure efficient delivery and streamlined solutions to complex problems.


    The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer focus, problem-solving abilities, regulatory knowledge, and the aptitude to translate lessons learned into actionable improvements.


    In this role, you will work diligently, enjoy the process, and undoubtedly contribute to making history.


    Export Control License:

    This position may involve the need for an export control license to comply with laws and regulations. Final placement is subject to Amazon's successful application for the necessary export control license on your behalf.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to bring product designs from concept to production
    • Proficiency in crafting functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures
    • Familiarity with component selection and reliability
    • Project management experience in technical projects
    • Prior work on aerospace products/projects or other regulated industries
    • Ability in troubleshooting and trend analysis


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent field
    • Experience with MRB, nonconformance processes, and quality systems
    • Knowledge of designing or redesigning integrated systems
    • Understanding of regulatory agencies and requirements

    Salary Information:

    The base pay for this role ranges from $114,300/year to $213,600/year depending on the geographic market. Compensation is influenced by market factors, job-related expertise, and experience levels.

    Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes equity, sign-on bonuses, and a range of benefits including medical coverage.
