    Job Purpose


    The Tax Planning Project Manager will implement and execute transactions, reorganizations, and other internally or externally developed plans by managing the process and coordinating with internal partners to complete assigned projects.

    Project implementation will be successful by identifying internal and external resources and partners, establishing and maintaining the project schedule, and managing the process to completion.

    This position reports to the Sr. Tax Manager, Global Planning.

    Job Description


    • Ensure that the project is planned, organized and executed in accordance with the applicable Company Policy
    • Ensure project execution within time and budget constraints by allocating resources and liasing with other departments and partners, while managing risks, opportunities, and changes
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders associated with the project with respect to project execution
    • Contribute to the transaction process and provide project management related information such as timelines, resources, partners, and obstacles to completion
    • Ensure timely internal and external reporting
    • Manage, inform, and lead project team by setting and monitoring execution
    • Ensure project execution and close out with appropriate feedback
    • Provide internal partners with recommended course of action regarding implementation of project procedures
    • Lead project team, organize and conduct project team meetings; confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
    • Review status reports prepared by project team and modify schedules or plans as required
    • Maintain project status reports and updates for management and other stakeholders
    • Identify and submit deliverables for completion of project
    • Manage 3rd party consultants
    • Typically no direct reports, but manage a matrixed team for each assigned projects

    You are meant for this job if:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's preferred
    • Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in Tax, Accounting or Project Management
    • Proven effectiveness in project execution
    • Demonstrates effective leadership ability within a cross-functional team environment and contributes significantly to team performance.
    • PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
    • Experience in working with cross-functional teams
    • Understands needs of not only Tax, but of Accounting, Treasury, Legal and other functional teams
    • CPA License preferred
    • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately
