- Facilitate legal and regulatory compliance to all internal and external reporting entities by preparing and maintaining required reports and policies, handling unemployment claims, and conducting required investigations.
- Current knowledge of best practice human resources processes and tools in the areas of performance management, compensation, recruiting, talent development and succession.

- Responsible for providing guidance and support on performance management concerns through fair and consistent application of appropriate disciplinary procedures and/or legal requirements.
- Understanding and managing leave of absence policies including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), FMLA/CFRA, etc.
- Processing bi-weekly payroll and understanding/programming of the system.
- Managing temp labor workforce
- Achieves results fast, individually and through teams – can manage data and multiple points of view quickly and creatively to arrive at a balanced solution.
- Managing employee benefits and enrollments including time and attendance, time-off policies, medical benefits, annual enrollments and 401(k).
- Create and provide new employees with a comprehensive onboarding program to enable a smooth transition into the Organization.
- Managing Companywide Employee Benefits and Building Insurance policies and renewals.
- Prepare internal HR-related documents including employment, promotion and transfer letters, and termination forms.
- Manages WC Claims.
- Managing Captive and liability claims
- Representing the Company in labor, safety, and OSHA-related matters
- Demonstrates high capacity and continually strives to learn, grow, and improve.
- Manages and represents the company in OSHA-related activities.
- Oversees all HR-related functions of three company sites.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

- Previous supervisory and project management experience is a must.
- Ability to work across multiple departments.

- Training/mentoring experience is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources management or a related field
- Minimum of 10 + years HR Management and Generalist experience, within a manufacturing facility; food manufacturing highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of CA HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent computer skills, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Experience with Rippling systems
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)
- Excellent communications – written and oral – including presentation skills and translations (English/Spanish).
