Responsibilities:
- Manage 1 HR staff
- Own administration of companywide HR policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with company goals and federal/state/local legal requirement
- Own the employee onboarding and offboarding for employees
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
- Guide and advise leaders in corrective action, development plans, employee terminations, etc. and assist with employee relations issues as needed
- Serve as a trusted ally to our internal teams advocating on behalf of our employees and driving policy with our employees in mind
- Liaise with legal counsel for litigation issues
- Coordinate the workers' compensation process, paperwork, and interact with our insurance company, medical providers, and teammates to return to work status. Maintain OSHA documentation
- Manage recruitment
- Manage employee benefits and healthcare
- Manage company insurances including GL, EPLI, WC and more
- Oversees all aspects of 401(k) administration, including annual audit
- Manage HR audits and filings related to EEO1 reporting and benefits compliance
- Process biweekly payroll
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience with proven success in the key responsibilities described above at a manager level
- Benefit administration knowledge including managing benefit programs and enrollment
- Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing,
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership abilities, time management, and problemsolving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent analytic mindset and high capacity for collaboration
- Experience with ADP Workforce is a plus
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry is a plus
Pay:
$110, $120,000.00 per year
