    Packaging Account Manager

    TMS Global are a wholly owned subsidiary of DS Smith PLC, a FTSE100 listed multi-national packaging and display manufacturing business.

    TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging and are active in 97 markets globally. Our TMS community consists of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.
    About The Role

    We are growing quickly and are currently expanding our client services team across North America to support a growing customer account.

    As a result, we are now looking for an Account Manager to join our Packaging team who are currently spread across North and South America.

    This role will be based in Legacy Drive Plano, Texas and is a permanent position which is hybrid working from home with frequent travel needed into the customers office 1-2 days per week.

    You will be key in ensuring the client is fully supported whilst delivering exceptional client services through the smooth and efficient execution of all Packaging ordering requirements.

    You will be providing operational support to the client, being responsible for the service and commercial delivery of orders/jobs and being responsible in identifying new opportunities to support the growth of their brad through innovative solutions based on our wide range of products and services.


    Some day to day responsibilities:
    Managing Multi-campaigns/multi job projects with multiple service elements
    Liaise with all stakeholders such as co-packers, retailers, suppliers, to ensure smooth delivery of goods to warehouses and/or retailers
    Supports catalogue compliance and actively looks for opportunities to further improve TCO savings.
    Planning and cost management of packaging campaigns
    Provides technical and operational support to the client(s) stakeholders
    Escalate when vendors underperform or have issues
    Work with suppliers to ensure critical path schedules are being met and shared
    Assist the Account Team in the development of operational and commercial strategies

    About You:


    This would be a great fit for you if you have worked in a Key Account Manager or Key Account Management support role previously, dealing with both a customer and suppliers.

    You will be used to managing multiple orders and fast turnaround times whilst delivery great attention to detail and customer service.

    Experience of Packaging or the Packaging industry is a high priority for this role.
    Some attributes and experience which would be a good fit for this role:

    Come from a similar role / background with exposure or experience within the packaging industry- secondary packaging experience as a preference.

    Previous Key account and project management experience
    Any background within procurement, reporting, stock inventory, production or client services
    Good Excel skills
    Working knowledge of the packaging, print or display industry.
    Technical packaging knowledge would be beneficial
