- Answer all incoming calls
- Transfer calls to appropriate department, when needed
- Schedule appointments for all physicians
- Confirm appointments for all physician, when required
- Cover telephone operator daily
- Become proficient in all procedures performed by the physicians
- Provide callers with general information about the physicians and procedures that are performed.
- Willing to work additional hours and weekends, when required
- Other job related tasks, as assigned, by supervisors and/or chief operating officer
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrates genuine concern for patients
- Ability to multi-task
- Work as a team member
- Organized and strong attention to detail
- Treats patients and co-workers with respect
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Two years medical office experience preferred but not required.
