    Program Director at Halo House

    Position Overview:

    As the Program Director at Halo House, you will play a vital role in providing a structured and nurturing environment for young women on their recovery journey from substance abuse and mental health challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, supporting residents in achieving their recovery goals, and fostering a holistic approach to care through close collaboration with treatment teams, families, and staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administer drug tests, manage transportation for clinical appointments and 12-step meetings, and oversee medication protocols.

    Create and enforce house rules, manage intake and discharge processes, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

    Manage staff by setting schedules, providing leadership, and overseeing training and development.

    Conduct weekly house group sessions and facilitate client accountability for attending 12-step meetings.

    Provide feedback and guidance to residents and staff, collaborate with external providers to ensure compliance with house standards, and promote productivity.

    Engage in business development activities such as networking, relationship building with external providers, and outreach to potential clients.

    Oversee administrative tasks like admissions, staff issues, and house maintenance, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

    Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

    Conducting various forms of drug testing and ensuring the protocol adherence.

    Providing transportation to and from various appointments and ensuring clients attend necessary recovery meetings.

    Supervising medication adherence, including collection from pharmacies and communication with clinical teams.

    Handling staff scheduling, issues, and enforcing rules among clients and staff.

    Managing client intakes and discharges, and preparing essential documentation.

    Case management, including coordinating with parents and clinical teams to develop cohesive treatment plans.

    Delegating tasks and holding staff accountable for shift responsibilities and client progress.

    Hiring, onboarding, and training new staff, and managing house maintenance needs.

    Requirements:

    Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client transport.

    Proven leadership experience in treatment/recovery settings such as detox facilities, residential treatment, or outpatient programs.

    Competence in Case Management and a general understanding of addiction treatment.

    A minimum of 2 years of sobriety for candidates in recovery.

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Certifications in addiction treatment (e.g., CADAC) or relevant academic background.

    Familiarity with digital tools such as Slack and Google Docs.

    This role demands a committed leader who can maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment at Halo House, ensuring that each resident receives the guidance necessary to foster a healthy and fulfilling future.
