Job Overview:


The ERP Program Director is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the ERP system within the organization.

The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to achieve the organization's strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation and Integration: Oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of the ERP system. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and compliance with industry best practices.

Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, track progress, and manage risks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align the ERP implementation with business objectives. Facilitate training and user adoption to maximize system usage.

Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of developers, analysts, and consultants. Provide mentorship, set clear goals, and ensure team collaboration.

Quality Assurance and Compliance: Establish and enforce quality assurance standards for the ERP system. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices for ERP system optimization. Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with ERP vendors and third-party consultants to ensure efficient system implementation and support. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) as needed.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the ERP program budget. Monitor expenses and provide regular financial reports to senior management.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in ERP implementation, project management, or a related field. Prior experience leading large-scale ERP projects is highly desirable.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).

Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business processes and best practices in areas such as finance, supply chain, human resources, and customer relationship management.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are preferred. ERP-specific certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Consultant) are a plus.
