    Description
    Job ID 19499 – Accounting Manager

    Location: Tampa, 33618

    Pay: Starting at $75K+ DOE

    Type: Direct hire

    Job description:
    • Manage accounting workflow, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
    • Review the work of bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and firm policies.
    • Make journal entries as necessary to maintain accurate financial records for clients.
    • Assist with new accounting client intake, gathering necessary information and setting up client accounts.
    • Issue financial statements to clients on a regular basis, providing insights and analysis as needed.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for bookkeepers, offering guidance, answering questions, and providing assistance with complex accounting issues.
    • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure smooth operation and client satisfaction.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, implementing necessary changes in firm procedures and client accounts.
    • Participate in client meetings and presentations as necessary, providing expertise and support on financial matters.
    Nice to have:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Leadership experience
    Requirements:
    • Must have CPA firm experience.
    • Must have QuickBooks experience
    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Background check required
